1. Structural characteristics of threaded globe valve

The main part of threaded globe valve is composed of valve body, valve cover, valve stem and valve spool. There is a threaded orifice inside the valve body, and the spool is rotated to cooperate with the wall of the threaded orifice to achieve liquid or gas shut-off and regulation. The valve cover is usually equipped with a knob, rotating the knob can drive the valve stem and spool rotation.

 

2. The working principle of threaded globe valve

When the valve stem rotates, the valve spool also rotates, in the valve spool and the threaded orifice of the hole wall with, so as to achieve the liquid or gas cut-off and regulation. When the valve stem rotates to the maximum position, the valve spool and the hole wall of the threaded orifice completely overlap, at this time, the liquid or gas will not be able to flow through the threaded orifice, so as to achieve the purpose of the cut-off. When the valve stem is rotated to the middle position, the hole wall of the orifice is widely spaced, and the liquid or gas can flow smoothly, achieving the purpose of regulation.

Threaded globe valves are widely used in urban water supply, drainage, heating, gas pipelines and various piping systems in industrial production. They can be used to control the flow and direction of flow of various liquid and gas media, especially suitable for high-pressure, high-temperature, high-viscosity media under the flow control.
