Product Information

A flanged globe valve is a valve that controls fluid by rotating the flap. It belongs to the forced sealing type valve, and pressure must be applied to the valve flap when closing to ensure that the sealing surface does not leak. The opening and closing parts of flange globe valve is a plug-shaped valve flap, the sealing surface can be flat or conical, the valve flap along the centre line of the valve seat for linear movement.

The working principle of flange globe valve is to achieve fluid control and regulation by rotating the valve flap. When the handwheel is rotated clockwise, the valve stem moves downward and the valve flap descends to make the sealing surface close, thus cutting off the access; when reversed, it opens, and the valve stem is raised to the highest point when the sealing is in effect.

The structure of flange globe valve usually includes valve body, bonnet, valve stem, valve flap and other parts. The materials of the valve body and bonnet can be carbon steel or stainless steel, the stem is usually made of chrome stainless steel, and the sealing surface is made of nylon or other soft materials to ensure good sealing performance.
