1、 What is a HEX. Nipple?
Hex Nipple is a straight pipe fitting with **male external threads on both ends**, and a hexagonal body in the middle. The hexagon section allows wrench gripping for easy tightening during installation. It connects two female threaded ports in a straight pipeline.
> Note: Differ from plain nipple (smooth body without hexagon, can’t grip easily with wrench).
2、What is the difference between Hex Nipple and Plain Nipple?
– HEX. Nipple: Middle hexagonal body, convenient for wrench torque control, ideal for tight installation space.
– Plain Nipple: Smooth round body, no hexagon; usually tightened by thread only, easy to slip when installing.
3、 What thread standards are available?
NPT (ANSI B1.20.1), BSPT / BSPP (ISO7/1, BS EN 10226). Metric thread M available for custom order.
> Important reminder: NPT and BSPT are not fully interchangeable. Wrong thread match will cause leakage. Please specify thread standard clearly on inquiry or PO.

10、Packaging for sea shipment?
Male threads are protected by plastic thread caps. Packed into export cartons, then loaded on fumigated wooden pallets with waterproof stretch film to avoid scratch and thread damage.
11、What is the lead time?
Typically, shipments are dispatched within 7–15 days of receiving the deposit, depending on the order quantity.
12、How is quality controlled?
Raw material inspection → CNC machining → Thread inspection → Hydrostatic testing → Visual inspection → Final dimensional verification before packaging.
13、Which Incoterms are available for overseas buyers?
We offer FOB (Free On Board) terms, with the shipment originating from a Chinese port. We will provide a commercial invoice, packing list, and bill of lading for import customs clearance.
