OPERATING PRINCIPLE
How Threaded Spring Check Valve Works
The threaded spring-loaded non-return valve is an **automatic one-way valve** that opens and closes through the combined action of the pressure differential of the medium and an internal spring, without the need for manual operation.

1. **Forward flow**
When the medium flows in the forward direction, the fluid pressure overcomes the preload of the spring, lifting the valve disc away from the seat, allowing the medium to pass through the valve unimpeded.

2. **Prevention of backflow**
When the medium stops flowing or reverse flow occurs, the forward pressure disappears and the internal spring rapidly pushes the valve disc to press tightly against the sealing surface of the valve seat, quickly closing the flow path and preventing backflow of the medium.

What is spring loaded threaded check valve?
H12W spring loaded threaded check valve is an automatic non-return valve with female threaded ends. It relies on fluid pressure and built-in spring to open and close automatically, to prevent medium backflow and protect downstream pipeline & pump.
What is its working principle?
Forward fluid pressure overcomes spring preload to lift the disc away from seat for medium passing. When flow stops or reverses, spring instantly pushes disc tightly onto seat to block backflow. It does not rely on gravity.
What are the main product features?

What is cracking pressure?
Cracking pressure is the minimum forward differential pressure required to open the valve. Different springs can be selected for different cracking pressure upon request.
Working temperature range?
PTFE seat: 0℃ ~ 100℃. Metal hard seal can withstand higher temperature.
Applicable media?
Water, compressed air, natural gas, oil, low-pressure saturated steam, weakly corrosive fluid. Not suitable for media with large solid particles, which may scratch sealing surface.
Can it be installed horizontally and vertically?
Yes. Its closing force comes from spring instead of gravity. Both horizontal and vertical installation are available. Must follow the flow arrow on body.
